Exterior Stonework & Masonry Maintenance in Vilas County

Many of my tips  are sparked by real world scenarios that I am involved in. Even though exterior masonry surfaces seem so indestructible, they do need some care every now and then.

Exterior surfaces are subject to all kinds of destructive forces – wind, rain, freeze thaw cycles, etc. A good cleaning and resealing will help to keep water penetration to a minimum, which greatly reduces potential deterioration. Brickwork is even more susceptible to these problems, so pay special attention to your brick.

This also applies to your Vilas County garage floors, sidewalks and concrete driveways. These surfaces are exposed to another element that presents a great danger to them – Salt!
