“North Twin Builders (NTB) made our lakefront home ready for our retirement. We purchased the home several years ago because it had the lakefront we wanted. The home had recently been expanded by the previous owner, but the “old” part of the home was really out of date.
After a couple of summer seasons, we started thinking about retiring to the lake home and we knew some remodeling would be important to make this the perfect retirement home for us. We considered several builders, and after talking to an area realtor, we decided to engage NTB for a series of remodeling projects. we started with a bathroom, then the kitchen, after that the ground level to include another bathroom, small bedroom for grandchildren, laundry room and a walkout family room with a lake view.
John worked with us each remodeling project. He is very through and detailed in project specifications. There were no surprises in the outcome, completion time line or costs. The team at NTB did exceptional work. John made useful recommendations in each phase to improve energy efficiency and enjoyability. The last project was a detached three bay garage for boats and storage space on the upper level for all that “stuff” we all accumulate.
