The Northwoods is just brimming with great things to do with the family this summer! The Scheers Lumberjack Shows, held in Minocqua and Hayward, are must-see events. A “blend of sport, history, and comedy”, these dazzling performances are fun for all ages and are sure to leave you amazed and rolling in laughter!
Each show features Northwoods lumberjack demonstrations, games, and a multitude of events, including:
Logrolling – see who can stay on the log the longest
Pole climbing – watch a speed climb up a 60 foot pole
Canoe joust
Axe throwing – hitting a bulls-eye from 20 feet
Power sawing
Boom run
Springboard chop
Obstacle course
