Northern Wisconsin Hunting Seasons
The fall hunting seasons kicked off in Northern Wisconsin on September 13th and will run through the winter and into 2015. Make sure you hit the woods for:
Deer bow hunting: September 13 – January 4
Ruffed Grouse hunting: September 13 – January 31
Wild Turkey hunting: September 13 – November 20
Woodcock hunting: September 20 – January 4
Deer hunting: November 22 – November 30
Upper Michigan Hunting Seasons
Roughly one third of the U.P. is recreational forest land, public hunting land right at your fingertips! The Watersmeet area of Gogebic County and Iron River, Michigan are great hunting destinations, just over the Wisconsin/Michigan border. Get ready for these Upper Michigan hunting seasons:
Ruffed Grouse hunting: September 15 – November 14 AND December 1 –January 1
Wild Turkey hunting: September 15 – November 14
Woodcock hunting: September 20 – November 3
Deer bow hunting: October 1 – November 14 AND December 1 – January 1
Deer hunting season: November 15 – November 30
